We believe that some of the best beers being brewed in Ontario are being made in small batches. At any given time we have ten or more different beers available on tap and to go in bottles or cans. We are dedicated to bringing together talented brewers from around the city and featuring them at our brewery.
In January of 2015 the People’s Pint Brewing Collective was born. Over several months we planned and executed our very first event at the Gladstone Hotel on May 29th. We brought together 15 different brewers who created 18 unique one-off beers and served them to the public.
It was a unique concept and one that was repeated several more times at events at the Landsdowne Brewery and at 3030 Dundas in the Junction. Our brew days were hosted by partner breweries, who generously allowed us to brew under their license (so we could serve the beer legally) including Muddy York, Rainhard, Junction and Henderson.
In June of 2016 we were presented with a very unique opportunity that would see us take the concept to the next level. Muddy York was expanding and was selling their 4HL fermenters and brite tank. We didn’t have a location and weren’t even close to being ready to open a brewery, but we went ahead and purchased them anyway.
It was an incredible leap of faith and good timing because shortly after that we found out that Junction Craft Brewing would be moving to a new facility at Symes Road. We met with them and struck up a deal to take over their space once they moved out.
We took over 90 Cawthra Ave on January 1st, 2018 and after a great deal of hard work, People’s Pint Brewing Company opened its doors to the public on March 16, 2018.
Our Junction based brewery is open 7 days a week for retail says and our patio is open Wednesday thru Sunday (weather permitting). We are a community focussed brewery and a vocal advocate for social justice and equality.
